This week we're working on original composition essays. You will be writing either a narrative essay (telling a story) or a persuasive essay (trying to convince the reader of something). Our topic is "People learn from a variety of sources". Remember that although a persuasive essay is easier for some people to write, a narrative essay will be worth more marks on the provincial exam.
If you missed a day or two, you can email me or check with someone else in the class to see what we can do to help you get caught up. If you know you'll be missing a day or two in the future, just let me know and we'll figure out how to get those marks for you.
The provincial exam will be on November 3rd, 2015 at 9am. You will have two hours to write it, plus an extra third hour if you need it.
